Heat Waves

Heatwaves is a series of images based off a story about a relationship between two lovers through a screen and technology with inspiration from the song Heat Waves by Glass Animals.

Gamers: Day & Night

Gamers Day & Night was a still life project to show gamer's habitats and where they spend most of their time: their desks. It can be taken two different ways. The day could be the before and they're all neat and tidy while they game or it could be the morning after they've stayed up all night.

Blue Velvet

This sequence of images were a film interpretation of David Lynch’s Blue Velvet. The scenes that resonated with me the most were when the characters came out of the darkness. I wanted to reverse that role and play into the light vs dark, pure and innocent vs chaos dynamic of the film.

Wears Away

To wear away means to gradually disappear. I created a series of six images using the idea of “wearing away.” I have this really worn-out pair of Vans that I’ve had for years now. I wanted to portray the adventure or journey of these shoes over the years, almost like someone was actually in them, but isn’t anymore, whether they left, or gave away the shoes, or even wore away themselves.

CORPSE

Corpse Husband is a very big inspiration to me both as an artist and a person. I used lyrics from his songs to create a photo series.
